SEASONAL
BOUQUET SUBSCRIPTIONS

Enjoy weekly, hand-tied bouquets of seasonal blooms, sustainably grown on our small farm in Lawrence.

Jordan Y.

"I wanted to do something romantic for my wife (she loves fresh flowers but is too busy to grow them herself), support a local business, and have something fresh and vibrant in the house each week. The flower bouquets you provide are so much more interesting and meaningful than a commercial subscription because yours are local and hand-assembled, and you give us a little background about what's happening in the garden each week. It's a lovely way to be connected to the real world around us."

"When Emily was little, we were members of a CSA (community supported agriculture) group in Brooklyn, NY. Emily loved receiving our fresh fruit and vegetables box every week and speaking to Farmer Bill at the pickup. When I saw your card, it reminded me of the CSA and I thought it was such a great idea to think of flowers in the same way.

What I was not expecting and was totally blown away by was the beautiful selection of flowers and the unique combination you come up with every time (the goldenrod, lisianthus, sunflower and marigold foliage was one of my favorites!). Each bouquet is a little artistic masterpiece in its beauty and originality. The flowers are fresh and vibrant and the different colors and textures complement each other thoroughly well. And it's always such a joy to have fresh flowers at home!

I am so happy to be supporting Big Bluestem Farm and I look forward to seeing what beautiful arrangements your imagination will conjure up in the years to come."

FAQ

ARE YOUR FLOWERS SAFE FOR PETS?

Most of our flowers are safe for pets, but we do grow some varieties that are toxic if consumed. I'll include a note in each week's email about which flowers to keep away from your pets.

Since we have dearly beloved feline family members and I process all of our flowers in our home, we don't grow lilies of any kind. Though most of our flowers are low-risk for pets, we prefer to display our flowers behind a closed door (like in our bathroom) or on high shelves our cats can't reach.

WHAT IS THE DELIVERY ZONE?

We currently deliver within Lawrence city limits only. No deliveries outside Lawrence, for now.

WHAT IS THE DELIVERY SCHEDULE?

Bouquets are delivered Thursday afternoons between 2:00 and 6:00 pm. We ask our members to leave a clean vessel with water on your porch each week to keep your flowers as fresh as possible and avoid single use plastic!

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY DELIVERY?

We are unfortunately unable to accommodate requests to reschedule subscription deliveries. However, if you will be unable to collect your bouquet for any reason, we encourage you to have a friend pick up your flowers after delivery (people love being gifted flowers!).
